Body Composition Data
Many Renpho scales measure more than just weight:
- Body Fat Percentage
- Muscle Mass
- BMI (Body Mass Index)
- Water Percentage
- Bone Mass
WeightSyncr sends weight to Garmin Connect. Other measurements remain outside this sync path and may be available in Renpho or Apple Health, depending on the scale and permissions you enabled.
Multiple User Support
If multiple people use the same Renpho scale:
- Each person needs their own iPhone with separate Apple ID
- Each person installs WeightSyncr individually
- Each person connects to their own Garmin Connect account
- The Renpho scale can distinguish between users and send data to the correct phone
Historical Data Import
To import historical weight data from your Renpho scale:
- Ensure all historical data is in Apple Health (check the Renpho Health app sync settings)
- Use WeightSyncr's "Sync Past Entries" feature (Premium)
- Select your desired date range
- WeightSyncr will bulk upload your historical data to Garmin Connect

Frequently Asked Questions
Which Renpho scale models work?
This setup works with Renpho smart scales whose companion app can write weight to Apple Health. Confirm that a recent measurement appears in Apple Health before configuring WeightSyncr.
Will my body composition data sync to Garmin?
No. This WeightSyncr path sends weight to Garmin Connect. Other Renpho measurements are not uploaded to Garmin through WeightSyncr.
How quickly does the data sync?
With manual sync: Immediate after tapping the sync button. With Premium automatic sync: Within seconds of your weight appearing in Apple Health. The entire chain (Scale → Renpho App → Apple Health → WeightSyncr → Garmin) typically takes less than 30 seconds.
Can I sync historical data?
Yes! WeightSyncr Premium includes bulk sync functionality that can upload months or years of historical weight data from Apple Health to Garmin Connect in one operation.
What if my Renpho scale stops working?
WeightSyncr works with any data in Apple Health, regardless of the source. You could switch to a different smart scale brand, manually enter weight data, or even use a regular scale with manual entry - as long as the data reaches Apple Health, WeightSyncr can sync it to Garmin.
Does this drain my iPhone battery?
No. WeightSyncr is designed to be very battery-efficient. The automatic sync feature uses minimal background processing and only activates when new weight data appears in Apple Health.
